Hi all,
Had taken delivery of a new 2014 hyperstrada shortly before winter. Stored the bike past 3 months (on center stand in heated garage, full tank with fuel stabilizer, engine ran after adding the stabilizer, used battery tender to top up battery).
I just started the bike for the first time since winterizing. While the bike starts fine, there is a noise that want there before when I first turn on the ignition. Seems to come from a place close to the front of the bike, Any insight into what this might be would be appreciated. It sounds like a pop/pluk.
I've added an image where I've circled the area from which the sound seems to come.
Not sure about how to add a video here. Is this possible? If it is, I can also add a video.
I'll really appreciate any help, as I plan to ride it tomorrow for the first time since December, and don't want to be stranded somewhere due to an electrical problem (which happened twice before on my 2013 hyperstrada, but yes, I still love the bike and upgraded to a 2014).
