currently ride a very dull Tiger 800, I came from an MT09 with huge grin factor which is probably why I think the Tiger is dull... no, it's just dull.
have put a deposit down on a new Strada 821 Low, just waiting for the dealer to get a low seat so I can try it before I make a definite decision. I'm a wee bit on the short side, 30" inseam if I tuck my balls up, so every little helps :D
as for me, well, been riding on and off for 30+ years, always had naked/street bikes until the Tiger and moved to Wales 25 years ago... the Welsh call this place Gods Country but it's really biker paradise.

Welcome mate. Wish I had easy access to those kinda roads; most of my riding is done in and around the city.

Reckon you'll love the Hyperstrada, it's a hoot. Especially with a 14T front sprocket, exhaust flapper off and an Akra. Almost as fun as my Husaberg FS650, which is saying something!!

I have a 30" inseam and am fine with the standard strada. The standard seat is probably more comfy for the long haul. Thick soled boots do make backing up a little easier.

I too have 30" inseam and have no problems with standard height. You will be on your toes, but not too bad if you scoot up to the very front when stopped. I tried one with a low seat and you can feel every bump.

I'm 5'1" with no balls to tuck, and have a 2015 Low (what they had in stock) with the regular seat. I wouldn't go for the low seat - the regular seat is good for trips, and if you slide your left butt-cheek off a bit at stops, it's fine.

I just came back from my first proper road trip on the Hyper, and that thing is SO much fun in the twisties! The suspension is a bit cheap, but the engine is so sweet, and the narrowness of the bike and the width of the bars make it so easy to chuck into turns.

The low seat made no difference in terms of reach to the floor when I tried it. In fact even with no seat on my reach to the floor is the same as the contact points are at the very side of the seat rather than top. Obviously we are all different shapes so this will not be true for everyone.

well, I got the low seat, only because they gave me a huge discount
bike will be ready to pick up later today so I'm hoping it stops raining so I can take the scenic route home :D
