Power outlet setup 2013 Hyperstrada 821

Good morning everybody,
I'm new to touring and I have been riding my Hyperstrada for the last 8 months experimenting with gear and setups.

One of the things I was wondering about was the power outlet setups you use.

I figured I would need a usb for my phone, one for my SENA, a 12v for my heated gear, would I need any more than that?

I have a battery tender USB for my phone for now and I was looking for better setups rather than having a dangling cable on the side to my X-mount.

Can anybody share the setup they have, wiring position, how to attach to the battery for power and cable routing for those three items?

Thanks in advance!

Marco

there are 2 power ports already on the bike. there is a gps harness you can tap into into in order to install a usb outlet, which is what I did. search the forum and you will see alot of info on different setups. you can also install heated grips, since the power harness is pre-installed on the bike

Thank you!
I found some of the posts in the forum.
I am looking into making the 12V heated grips plug getting power to both heated grips and heated jacket, can't find anybody who refers to it, I wrote a reply on another post about it.
Do you have any idea?

Just a thought - grips and jacket will be a lot of power coming from one circuit. I run my jacket and gloves from a fused coax running from the battery.

So, I decided to run the GPS from the dedicated port and a double USB from the heated grips.
Do i need to get the heated grips activated by anybody or its the plug ready to use? I've read somewhere that you have to have it activated by a dealer.

Also, I am trying to run the heated jacket/gloves from the 12v outlet from under the seat but I don't seem to be able to get electricity from it..any ideas?
Do i need an adapter?
I have a battery tender already on the battery and I'm not sure I can run the heated gear battery adapter from there too
