Purple Pannier/ Side Bag Replacement (Under Warranty)....Looking for success stories

So my '14 comes off factory warranty in a couple of months.

Before I even took delivery, at least ONE of the bags WERE replaced under warranty. At the time I thought it was both and have never really looked back.

Now I have one Purple and one Black (er) which makes me think only one side was replaced.

I do keep them on 100% of the time but the bike has been garaged nightly since new and very seldom even parked in direct sunlight.

ANYHOO it seems that some of you have had claims denied and some had success. I would love to get both replaced so they are even in a few years (love the bike/ plan on spending some time with her)

Any tips or suggestions!?

I'm obviously in the Denver area also if anyone has a suggestion locally.
Any thing else I should have them look at before warranty is out?
Had no issues in 6300 miles (except one time the bike wouldn't start after stop and go city driving while hot and temp was running super high...waited to cool and then no issues)

Thanks!

You're going to have a hard time getting the dealer to replace them I think. So after riding with both on the bike, only one turned purple?

Yep. I think either only 1 was replaced or both were replaced but only one had the "Supposedly" New material that was less prone to purple?

Not sure. But they definitely don't match each other now.

I got my bag replacement shot down, but not by my original dealer that warrantied everything (moved for work).

I'd shoot for starter replacement. Mine hasn't died yet but has chugged for a long time. It's a tough DIY or couple hund out of pocket.

I had both of mine replaced and some cloth on one of them went purple (on the new ones with the supposed coating) . It wasn't the whole bag, just the square cloth patches around the handle. The rest of the bag is still jet black. The patches faded out within a few weeks.

The build quality is bad. It barely improved on the "improved" version of the bags. I had zero luck getting Ducati to replace it a second time. Give it a shot man, but good luck....
