Rear Brakes

I have a 2013 hyper base. 3200 miles on the clock and my rear Brakes are wiped. Mostly 80% city driving. I was thinking that is a little soon. I do ride a little aggressive, but I'm mostly using the front brake. Anyone else wipe their brakes that quick? I'm thinking of getting OEM pads unless others comment a better experience with other pads.

That is quick. Might make sense to try EBC or other quality after market pads. I don't recall ever wearing out the rear pads on any bike I've owned. I try to use rear break more than I used to, but 90+% of braking power I use is still in the front...

Sure you're not dragging a heavy foot on the rear pedal? I've followed many riders where the brake light flickers, usually meaning they're riding the rear.

The pads were 1.6mm left. I dont unintentionally drag the rear brake, just harder on my stuff than most. I call it normal wear and tear, while my friends say im an animal. Maybe because of the ABS, im harder on the rear brake entering corners because I can trust ABS to do its thing. Nearly standing on the rear brake..

could be worse...

I once had a test ride on an Aprilia Tuono. The brake pedal was just high enough that I apparently dragged it enough to overheat and lock up the rear wheel! Had to find the toolkit and back off the adjuster.

BTW I hated that bike, had to keep tons of pressure on the inside handgrip to keep it leaned over in a corner. It was a magazine testbike, perhaps all those stoppies squared off the front tire.
