Rear turn light to led light

I wonder ... I removed rear turn signals also light for licence plate. Means I disconnected all from under the seat. I have no much experience with electric.
Does anyone know if I can do some damage to the electric system if I just leave it disconnected? I live now in Mexico City so driving without flashers is not a bit deal here. Eventually I would like to put some small led flasher. Also anybody has experience how to use these? I saw there is Resistors, I wonder if I need it.

That's what I though it will happen but not front flashing same as before.
