Recall CR123

Hi.

Recently took my bike in (2016) and when the dealer ran my VIN a recall was listed.

From the paper work "Perform Recall CR123 Engine Control Unit Update"

Anyone else have this done? what does it exactly address?

The bike was running fine prior to the recall and to my knowledge, the "disco dash" didn't really affect the 16's all too much.

Bike seems to run the same. I'm more curious than anything.

D'oh - I found the answer to my own question via a quick google search.

Seems to affect only the 16's (entire hyper range), but only the CAL and CAN versions

From documentation found on nhtsa:

"A new engine control unit software calibration is now available for the above-mentioned model that improves the motorcycle’s drivability under all use conditions, and it’s idle speed management functionality. This update must be performed on all motorcycles involved. "
