Replacement Panniers

Ducati replaced my purple panniers. Supposedly, the new ones have a UV protective coating to keep them from turning purple again.

Does anyone else have these new-style panniers? How are they holding up? I was considering spraying mine with some additional protective coating.

I used some 303 Fabric Guard. Two heavy coats (It's a liquid spray), and the bags bead water nicely. Supposed to be highly rated for boat covers, which see a lot of UV. I haven't had my new bags long enough to tell about the color fading, but the fabric guard still beads water after 1k miles.
