I like the look of they hyperstrada only issue I have is my size. I am 6 225 jokes.... I know I can stand to loose a couple lbs but I just dont want to look like a clown on a mini bike riding one of these. Any comments from the hyperstada community would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hyp

The 6' part is a bonus. As long as you don't have an unusually short inseam, you'll get both feet flat on the ground and have an easier time swinging leg over bags/seat.

Your weight shouldn't be a deal breaker. Sure, it's a smaller bike but it's definitely got motor. I'd call the rear suspension pretty stiff as it is, and it's adjustable. Front forks will be your biggest gripe - I'm 180 and am pretty critical of the dive under moderate breaking. If you're buying it to win every stop light race, you will get tired of the front dive quickly.

For cruising and spirited runs, it's a blast. The engine breaks so good that I normally just feather the rear a bit to come to full stop.

I'm 6'2" and love to ride my hyperstrada. Feet basically flat. I don't plan any long touring rides. I usually ride naked bikes and haven't figured out if the windscreen does anything good or bad. Feels narrow compared to my 99' buell X1. Agile with great acceleration. Comfortable for my wife on back too.

I'm 5'9" and I can't flat foot LOL, but the bike is light enough no big deal. This is the reason I sold my GS 1200 adventure ...weight.

I rest a foot on the brake and with a slight lean flat foot it during stops. The weight and balance is superb and I haven't had a tipping scare yet.

For tall riders who feel cramped on the HPstrada, I think the KTM 990 SMT could be on the shortlist as well. Don't love the looks but another fantastic - fun bike.
