just got home and checked out the new levers. There not correct for the hyperstrada. Don't order any. Just off the phone to the company and they want me to send them back. See pictures of what I received.

Unfortunately I am in the same boat, I have received exactly the same levers.

Got the same request - to send photo's of my original levers and what I have received from them, so their technician can work it out .

They obviously have NO idea.

I wondered about that because all the photos I have seen they look like they are set up for hydraulics not cable pull.

After many emails sending pictures etc - they say they are shipping the right parts to retrofit to what I have - so that the levers fit the Hyperstrada.

Lets hope they can get it right this time. I suspect that I may be chasing a refund in a week or so - but you never know

That's very frustrating to receive the wrong parts. I have updated my most recent post to show what the figment should be.

When I was chatting to the Moore speedracing sales person I believe they were saying the clutch lever was the same as the 848 and 1098. I.e. It was the same rizoma part number.

This is what I am using.
Rizoma Billet motorcycles parts from Italy.

Phantomfighter, I ordered from Moore speed racing as well, but sales person suggested this one (LBR503B/LCR503B) which is listed for Hyperstrada at Rizoma site as well.

I am glad that LBR500B/LCR500B worked for you.

after talking to the German bird. They are also sending me the "adapter s" so they will fit. So I'll have to be patient and see what comes.

Hello.

You have me to thank for that listing. I was chatting to the online sales person about the parts and they created the hyper sales post whilst I waited, so I could over the part you are quoting. I was just sharing the info that this part is also the same as the other RRC levers on that site.

When you are fitting the new levers. Make sure you remove the small white sleeve that is sitting inside the hole on the OEM lever. Place this inside the new rizoma one. You'll get a lot less wiggle on the lever.

I went down to the right hand side of the bike and removed the cable from its joint with some pliers.

Phantomfighter, Thank you for your effort and info . I wanted to order the same but they insisted that I should wait for Hyperstarada specific one. As they are coming form Italy, it will take some time.

Lets hopre they know what they are doing. I have assumed that if they are flogging something as specifically for the Hyperstrada they would have been certain it was the right fit. Obviously thats not the case.

:(

No worries, So to recap, you need to take the white sleeve from the OEM lever.

Also what I did was move my clutch unit, which includes the mirror attachment. I moved it all a little bit to the right.

I did this as I was having issues kangarooing off from the lights. I thought it was a bitting point issue. The moving to the right i.e. towards the centre of the bike, gave me a little more purchase and leverage on the lever. I found that I have clicked the lever all the way back to fit my hand. Im still playing with the fine adjuster screw jobbie as this helps me fine tune my bitting point.

What about the clutch lever? Is there options for the clutch lever as of yet?

Nice, Mental. I'd go this route for next upgrade.

*Is the reach on both levers much shorter? I really need my brake lever closer. I don't know if its a factory safety thing or what, but I would prefer my brake lever no more than 2 finger widths away as I always keep at least one finger covering the lever.

Yeh the reach can be set much closer now, that was the only reason why I changed, i felt the OIM was too far away, much better now, I have to say that even though Vtrec sent out the wrong fittings originally, their aftersales and customer support was excellent.
I'm sure they have now resolved the issue and correct parts will be shipped in the future.
