Scotland 'Strada?

My lady Dianne and I are touring Scotland in our campervan, rather than on two wheels. There are advantages both ways, but some time I hope we will be on bikes. Anyway, we were turning out of Lochcarron garage when a string of bikes pulled in, and one was a HyperStrada! This was mid-afternoon on Monday 8th of June. I'm wondering if this was our newish recruit (Rob or Enreves was it?) who said he was preparing for such a trip shortly. If it was, good on yer man! If I hadn't been turning 3.5 tons of camper onto the road, I might have had a word but it was good to see such a rare bike doing what it was intended for. Puts me to shame for using mine just for joy-rides.
Cheers,

Yes, that was me! Monday the 7th we pulled in the garage at Lochcarron about 3ish as one of the guys had a puncture on his BMW. We ended up being there for about an hour and a half whilst it was repaired. We'd come up from Skye then headed to Ullapool after the puncture. I only know the exact timings as took some pictures there.

Excellent! I could barely believe my eyes when I saw you drive in just as we were leaving, and though I saw a few Multistradas and one V4 Streetfighter (what a sound!) up there, I thought there could only be one 'Strada on a tour!
Cheers,
Nick

I saw the same 2/3 Multi's around the NC500, they were going in the same direction as us clockwise. HS is definitely a rare sight. Hope you had a good trip.

We did, thanks; the first week was blessed with weather more like the Med! Not at all what we expected in Scotland, and the midges hadn't woken up yet either. Later, it got a bit more damp and the biters showed up, so we called it a trip and came back to Norfolk.
