Ok. Break in is over and I'm starting to ride this thing harder. A few thoughts:

1. I don't care for the antilock brakes. Off
2. The Pirelli trail front tire actually skids before the bike will lift the rear tire.

3. The clutch is so inconsistent and occasionally makes me look like a rookie.
4. The stock suspension is still good enough for me
5. This is the easiest bike in existence to back into corners. Squeeze the front brake, countersteer a little, bang two downshifts and hang it out as far as you like. I'm gonna get in trouble.

Keep playing with the clutch adjustment and when you find that sweet spot it is not to bad. Having said that they are still not the easiest bike to launch at the traffic lights. Cheers.

I notice my clutch is way harder to use after the bike has been sitting. Which means there is not enough oil between the plates to smooth things out. Once it gets spinning it's butter smooth. Try using Mobil 1 4T 10W40

+1 BelloStrada, I am impressed with how well this clutch works. I find it smooth and consistent, something I aim for myself, but of course I make many, many mistakes. I find that it takes very little throttle to launch. As per usual, it's harder when around the slow moving cages.... always hard for me to temper speeds to their crawling ways..
