I picked up a used Denso starter to replace the Taiwanese one on my Hyper when/if it failed. I have since traded in that bike so I won't be needing this.

Looks to be in good shape. Never ended up installing it so I will have to just assume it's in good working order.

Pretty heavy so $50 shipped takes it.

There's a gasket and possibly different bolts for mounting. Old gasket looked fine. It's a composite one and does have a tension spring groove built into it.
 
yes, direct replacement. If you're a gasket replacement freak, there's one at the mating flange. I think the mounting bolts are the same but mine came with new hardware and can't say for certain.
