I bit the bullet yesterday and ordered a low mount Termi. Local dealer wanted nearly $2500 for exhaust, air cleaner and chip. I went for the $1000 one from a dealer in Victoria, Aus. I am still sucking in breath at the price, but the looks and hopefully the sound can let me breath out again. Should be here next week. Cheers.

Almost sounds like you're getting the full exhaust. If they let you keep the up-map key.. Would you be interested in selling it afterwords..? I'm wanting to find out if the programming can be installed on multiple bikes.

It's my understanding that there is no "chip" or ECU work needed for the low mount. My dealer tried to sell me the low mount as well with a "tune" for $2500.
I have never seen full exhaust - I've seen a high mount, but it's not a full exhaust from what I could tell. Still bolts on after that valve thing, just like the low mount.

the slip on should be arround 800€, the full system it´s way too expensive for my taste..

Which dealer is this from?
Im thinking of swapping out my full Termi system with upmap for the low mount. Im worried that with such a small market in Aus i wont be able to sell the full system though..

I am sure you will have no problem getting someone to pick it up from you if you really don't like it. I have always found that the stock bike sounds pretty good and is pretty loud without being obnoxious. First bike where I don't feel the need for an exhaust, I hope it isn't because I am getting old
