Hello

Not having any Hyperstrada yet, but planing to get one.

Owners manual on page 113 (english) describes "Turn indicators (automatic reset)".

Are they trying to describe that the Hyperstrada automatically shuts off the turning signal after a while?

Below 80 km/h after 500 meters?
Above 80 km/h after ???

That section in my manual talks about entering your pin code using the turn indicator switch. This is allows you to start the bike if the immobilizer fails. I have not noticed the turn signals automatically turning off at a predetermined time. I usually push the center button to cancel.

Turn indicators (automatic reset). On page 123 of the owners manual it states the turn signals will automatically reset if you don't use the manual reset button 4. However, it says it only auto resets at speeds under 50 and after0.3 miles. Sadly I have not seen this function work because I'm always above 50 rather quickly after turning. I'll have to go slow and see if it works.

Same as the Multi12, never happens, you will always be above 50mph before reaching .3 miles. That bike made me develop the habit of turning my signal off during the turn, or my wife will be yelling at me on the Sena.

Yes Super Ten, I believe your correct. I have not seen mine work yet and unless your driving on a city street I can't imagine it ever working. I simply press the button after every turn.

I get that to...

Haven't seen signal auto cancel either. I chuckled when I read that in the manual, thinking it was way to good to be true. I hate being the cycle that drives miles with blinker on so I'm in the habit of mashing the cancel button in a turn.

I think the tacti efeedback of signal switch pushed left/right is kinda hollow. More and more I find myself looking at the dash and the signal isn't flashing after I pushed the switch. It doesn't have a positive breaking point to let rider know it was a good push.

Ok I had to make a small run around and so I tried it and it does work, it was painful keeping it below 50mph...

Thanks Jerdog, I was also wondering if this really worked... good to hear it does if you control your wrist a little!

Hi

The function "automatic turning signal off" is a joke.
Who drives below 80 km/h for 500 meters after a stop at a crossroad?

Why do not Ducati change the software, so it works like all other brands with "auto shut off" function? Any speed and "auto shut off" after about 100 meters!

Anyone discussed this with your dealer/workshop?
