Well I act a little impulsive. I was going to try to find an older Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP and try to lower it but they don't show up and frankly I'm 5'7" so it wan't happening. I didn't really know until just now that the Hyperstrada is exactly what I was looking for. But then they were sold out at this great deal they are going for and I couldn't even ride one. I just bought it and had it delivered from ProItalia.
It arrived today and I sat on it and sh*t I thought MISTAKE. But when I got off work I ran up to Glendora Mountain Road (I live at the base of Mt. Baldy) and this bike KICKS ***. I have a Diavel and a 999 and I'm telling you this is going to be a hoot.
I see the new Multistrada 950, and it's taller...making it a no-go for me. I had wanted to buy a "fun bike" like this or a KTM but they were all to tall. This is perfect. I hope it's OK for my wife's comfort. She's used to the back of a Harley but I just don't want to worry about 850lbs to deal with.
