Your first Ducati motorcycle?

first ducati. I've wanted a ducati since the 916 came out. The hyperstrada looks like the perfect bike for me(I hope its comfortable). I wont be sell my 2003 touno though.
First Duc?
My first Duc was the first Ducati 851 in the NW. I was hooked. Since then: a 900SS, carbon everything, and now a Hypermotard 1100S. The Hyperstrada is next.

I plan on a deposit at my dealer tomorrow. It will make a nice compliment to my 999S which is a beauty but a beast in terms of long term comfort.
BTW, I just returned from the show in Long Beach. The Ducati booth was packed. People drooling over everything.

My first bike was an '03 Monster 800ie. If it weren't for Ducati's peerless design team I probably would never have been inspired to the point of actually riding motorcycles and they are now a huge and happy part of my life. Here's to Ducati continuing to take risks and make bikes that stir the soul!

My first Duc was a '98ST2, my current ride is a 2000 ST2. Between the 2 of them, I've logged about 230,000km. Current one has about 110,000km on it and hope to squeeze one more season out of it but will be looking at something else in the next year or two. The Hyperstrada really looks interesting to me.

I sold my 06 Monster S2R 800 this fall in preparation for a new bike this spring. It has been a fun and reliable bike. I hope I don't miss it.
Mine was a 620 Multi, then the 1000ds that I may be trading for the new Hyperstrada. I've been craving a Hypermotard after test riding a few, but couldn't give up the wind protection. I think they read my mind with this bike!

First duc. Rode 4 banger japanese sport bikes and thought twins were lame until riding a TL1000S...immediately hooked on that torque. Still, ducs were like the Ferrari of bikes and never thought I'd own one.
Little older and the hooligan days are behind me but you always want to ride again. I was looking at Duke's and BMW GS's. The Strada has the looks, power and utility I was searching for.

I learned to ride motorcycles in 1962 on a Ducati 200 Americano. How many of you out there even know what that is ? It was the start of 50 years and 45 bikes worth of fun.
My next Duc was in 1980, I bought a Desmo Darmah 900.
Then in 1991 I got the first 900SS to arrive in Colorado.
And finally, in 2010 I bought a 2009 Monster 1100.
I've been looking at both Stradas (multi and hyper) to see if either of them push my buttons. We'll see next month when the demo rides are available.
