    Test ride advice

I have come to a price agreement on buying a 2014 hyper with a dealership about 2 hours away. I am going this weekend to test ride and then hopefully finalize the purchase of the bike. The bike has ~5 miles on it, and I have ridden one before and know I like the way the bike rides. Before I...

    My first Ducati Hyperstrada ride.

I'm looking for this riding experience: But with more power and the capability to go on multi-day rides. Rides with a focus on those tiny backroads where there aren't people texting, speed traps, traffic, etc... Roads like this: Or even like this: Well, I think I found the perfect...

How many miles do you ride a year?

I'm embarrassed to say I only average 1,000 miles a year it would seem. I've had my Hyperstrada a year now and have only put 1,000 miles on the odometer. :( I really love it, but I guess I just love driving my convertible more (don't have to put on all the gear and much safer). How many miles...

Do you ride bags on or bags off?

Just curious how everyone normally rides their Strada and whether you ride with the saddlebags on or off. Seems to me like riding off is nicer for mobility but riding with them on is nice because in the event you ever drop it in a parking lot, the bag will cushion the fall. :p

    Test ride from a non-owner

Well I relented and had a test ride on a Hyperstrada 821 yesterday, thanks Ducati Colchster, UK. The seating position was on a nice comfy seat. Legs nicely low and the bars close. There was a nice little screen and the "clocks" or digital display was low and nearly out of sight. There is...

20mm fork difference - ride impact

Hi All, Considering the new hyper - really like the touring seat and the screen, but dont really need the bags, center stand, 12v, or other strada features. So thinking to get a hypermotard and add a touring seat and screen. Since the 2 bikes have different suspension, and geometry, I'm...

    Initial ride impressions

Test rode a black Hypermotard this morning at my local big box store and found it very favorable! Seat hight was a little taller than expected for my 32" inseam but it didn't put me off at all, sitting in the saddle placed me a little more forward than expected but farther back than the air...

Cannot wait for a test ride.

I am very, very interested in the Hyperstrada. I love the Hypermotard, and all the mid sized Ducatis, and would love something that has that grunt with a comfy seat and touring capability. I have had several adventure bikes and I currently ride a Street Triple R. I doubt I would trade that in...
