I am selling a pair of 14mm handlebar spacers with new nuts and bolts. This is 5-6mm less than the stock setup.

Decided to try a shorter height and didn't want these to go to waste! Asking $35 shipped in the US. Thank you

I'm definitely interested! But if I read your post correctly, you went to an even shorter bar height?

Yeah, so I have the SP model which doesn't come with a spacer at all. I wanted to try out something like the Hyperstrada's 20mm spacers, but not as high. So I made these 14mm spacers. Turns out I actually like the stock height or thereabouts (no spacer) or maybe I am just used to that, so I am selling these rather than shaving them down since they're perfectly fine.

What's involved as far as the install goes...any crazy access issues requiring disassembly of half the front end?

Not at all, just removing the 4 screws on the handlebar, then the 2 bolts holding the risers on. I used a ratchet with an extension from the bottom side, and my friend to hold the bolt from the top to hold it from spinning.

What are the torque specs for the 4 handlebar screws, and the 2 riser nuts? I'm assuming they are the same for the 821 as the 939, but I don't have the 939 service manual yet.

Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of removing my 20mm risers.

Thanks in advance

The risers screws should be torqued to 45 Nm ± 5%, following a 1-2-1 sequence.

The top cap/plate screws should be torqued to 25 Nm ± 5%, following a cross pattern.

The top cap is machined such that one side gets tightened first then the other side clamps down. Tighten the side with the arrows first (toward seat), then the other side (dash side).
