2013 Hyperstrada 821 Loses Power and Intermittent Check Engine Light

Hey guys...

The bike still stalling and the CEL shows up, sometimes I just pull over and the CEL comes off, sometimes I need to turn off the key.

Tried differents ride modes, same problem.

I will disassembly the bike, take the gas tank off and clean all the plugs with contact cleaner spray.
Will remake the plugs in the coils cord, I was reused the originals in the Aprilia Coils changing, now I bought brand new plugs to do it again, idk, maybe I have any troubles in there.

Maybe it could be the inclination sensor? Some issues ocurred in turns, when I was leaning the bike.

This issues will drive me crazy...!!

I try to isolate the problem, get a diagnosis, but it happens very randomly...

I tried to isolate the problem, diagnose it, but it happens very randomly... Click to expand... I've experienced abnormal flameouts caused by jumps. I used a sponge between the ECU and the seat and the problem was solved.

I've had this in the past. TPS on the handlebar was the issue.
Having the issue again, 14k later. Purchased another and should have it tomorrow. Not super expensive and easy to do. Also local dealer mentioned that my 821 could be prone to this. I have no idea why.
I'll let you know.

I've had the TPS issue and had it replaced based on the service bulletin. It is a free replacement. The symptoms were the soft fail, as described: limited throttle and a top speed of about 50 -55 mph. I recently had this occur again, but also a pure idle situation with no throttle control - this pointed away from the TPS issue. Based on this thread @Relax I checked the battery terminals and they needed some tightening. It's been about 300 miles, including rain, and fast highway, and no sign of a return. Thanks for the tip.

My experience is that the bike is very sensitive to the state of the battery. What can seem an alarming dash display, can simply be a battery with low charge, or on the way out. Hopefully the loose terminals created a scenerio where the cpu triggered a failure mode, and it's all resolved. Knock on wood.
