500km HS with odd behavior

I did not ride the bike for the last three days and today morning when i was removing the bike cover strap, i found this 10mm allen bolt near my center stand. Tried to find a matching empty thread but finally concluded that could be a technician fault (kept somewhere inside the engine bay or on chasis) from the factory since the bolt itself found unused and the threads on it were very fresh.
But now as soon as i started riding, the bike is not pulling. I narrowly escaped from a car as i did not get the acceleration as i normally used to get . The bike is not revving over 5k and the felt running on a single cylinder. Any idea about this, i already checked the riding mode, and it is on touring, i changed it to sport mode and again the same result

Any idea what could be the problem, i am going to call the dealer but before that just wanted to ask any of you had this kind of problem. And it will be embarrassing if that allen bolt had something to do with this. I was anxious about the Ducati reliability that one day it is going to happen to me and this is my day. But i never expected some thing like this when only with 500km. My folks told me when i bought my HS that you will have to sacrifice the Japanese reliability when you go for an Italian brand name and *** appeal.

I'm thinking maybe that bolt fastens some part of you're electronics? Maybe coil? But I'm not positive. I'd phone you're dealer and tell them about the bolt, and that it felt like it was running on one cylinder. They might know rite away, and have a quick fix for you.

Did the problem persist after shutting down and restarting? Those symptoms with no warning lights sounds an awful lot like the odd limp mode that some of us get from time to time. Mine always resets after powering down and restarting.

The bolt head is of Allen key matching (10mm). I have dropped the bike and the bolt at the dealer yesterday. He immediately responded that, this is normal with this bike as there are 4 other owners already came with same problem, the remedy is just update the software.

There was no problem of total power loss or complete engine shut scenario, neither for me nor for others. It was just only like running on a single cylinder. I shut the engine and started again, changed the engine mappings etc but result was same. However after 8 hrs in the evening when I was taking the bike to the dealer, it was ALL OK.

Dealer says the bolt has nothing to do with this and he will investigate on the bolt.
