Any way to raise up front fork - suspension?

Hi all, this topic is spinning in my head since morning and I wanted to know if anyone was trying to get this babe back high as on Hypermotard?

Original hypestrada comes with settings where the 43mm inverted Showa fork on has reduced wheel travel (from 6.7 down to 5.9 inches, ostensibly to help lessen front-end dive), which is partially responsible for the slight decrease in wheelbase from the Hypermotard's 59.1 inches to 58.7 inches on the Hyperstrada.

Is there any way how to adjust it back on 59.1"? Apparently these two guys are coming with same fork shock ...
 
I believe the suspension hardware is different. To make a Hyperstrada into a Hypermotard (in terms of height and wheel base) would probably require switching out the HS fork and rear shock for the HM units. I am thinking the frame and headstock are the same.
 
You could lower the forks in the triple a little, however don't extend the fork tubes past being flush with the upper clamp. That should give you about 10mm of extra height vs stock. A note about doing that, the higher the front end is (the lower the forks are held in the triple), the less "snappy or responsive" the steering will feel.

Rear shock is different between HS/HM/SP accounting for some of the wheelbase differences.

alright, this is good point. Any extra length up is good :) cheers
 
dunno, both are mounted with Showa fork, only length is different. My 2 cents, technically they are sharing same concept and thinking as fork supplier, to reduce cost I would make it adjustable (not for user) :)

just my thoughts..

Hi , i installed the Andreani cartridges and got more than 180 mm of travel .
Riding like this more than 6 months and no issues so far. Thinking to put a 19” front wheel now.
 
Personally I wouldn't want to raise the front at all without matching the rear height to it. I got some help setting up the suspension on my Hypermotard and part of the setup was to drop the forks a bit, maybe 1/4 of an inch. This, plus setting the rear shock with the correct amount of sag and dampening really settled the bike. I'm sure it would improve with aftermarket mods, but as it is it feels nicely planted on even the roughest roads.
 
I have Ohlins TTX in the rear and Mupo K911 in the front. The bike sits pretty dang high now. I know what you mean however, the bike would look a little better with a higher front end. Off topic, do you folks take these stickers off the frame? Mine are starting to peal off.

Racetech told me that the forks were made by Kayaba. The part numbers for the regular Strada vs. the "Low" model are different, so raising the bike substantially will require the regular forks. However, the clamps look sturdy enough to me to allow them to drop the outers maybe a centimeter below the top. You should increase preload at the rear to match the new ride height.

I can drag a peg with my standard Strada, so the low model makes little sense to me. It's a Ducati, right? And I'm ~170 pounds in full gear.
