The popping on deceleration is annoying

Yeah. I’ve had s couple of times I was sure I was not going to get her running.. But then had it sit with the ignition on for a couple of minutes and she’d putter to life. That’s in colder weather though and supposedly that’s thanks to that tiny battery..

Was that all stock ? This just happened after I put the air box lid and slip on pipes it started and stalled twice

I've had no issues with stalling or Uber lean with lid, sprint filter and stock exhaust. It looks like Akra is getting close on their 698 exhaust. That's what I'm waiting for.

Ordered the Shift Tech titanium header yesterday. Not due until August. Still trying to decide on which cans to go with it.

Shift Tech is going to make me a full system in titanium rather than with carbon mufflers.

If you want that option just ask Guido.

just picked the bike up after getting it installed. The full termi system with he mapping and airbox lid.

I can’t find anything out about how the wheelie assist mode should work with the new mapping. Nothing new in the menus.

I’m curious if the constant popping on deceleration is because maybe the correct termi upmaps are not coming on the module/fob thing.
I’ve never had a bike with this much popping with an upmap installed. It seems really lean.

Much better power and torque down low. More what I would have expected.
Pops the wheel up much easier in lower rpm’s and throttle control down low is much smoother.

I installed the Ducati multi-media module on the 698 recently. The part number on the actual plastic case for the unit matched the correct part number for the 698, but it showed up as an unsupported unit in the dealers system when powered up.

Would love to know if anyone has the wheelie assist working correctly with the exhaust yet.
Not Ducati Wheelie Control. “Wheelie assist”

I am also one who had constantly glowing header. That still happens with the new exhaust. I was hoping the more free flowing pipes would cut down on that.

Wheelie assist also has me baffled, mine is no different that stock.

More free flowing would increase the lean condition and make the header hotter, unless they added fuel.in the remap. Does anyone know if there is a new fueling map included with the full termi package?

There is supposedly a new map that was installed, but it does sound leaner.

Does anybody know what we are really supposed to get with this kit? My dealer just ordered it in and says it doesn’t come with the wheelie control, mapping, or the filter, is he crazy or did I have them order the wrong part number? It was three grand! I’ve seen them online with the description of a new filter and the wheelie control software. Please advise.

I was told directly by Ducati NA that it comes with the wheelie assist and that was the biggest reason to get the full exhaust, the upgraded software.

Wheelie control is already on the bike.

I got it sorted, and yes, wheelie assist. Turns out the filter is in the box with the pipe and the dealer needs to get the software assigned to my VIN so they can squirt the the update. I’m dropping the bike off tonight for install tomorrow. 🤘

Picked my bike up today and searched for “wheelie assist” in the menus. No luck, and now I have to figure out how to get back in sport mode!! Not intuitive Ducati!
I had the service tech put in a formal request to Ducati to figure out wheel assist, I will pass along what I find out.

Hold the selector button in the modes will flash then scroll up or down to select ride mode.

Got a call from my service rep on wheelie assist, apparently we just need to put the wheelie control in 1 and it’s on. Who knew?
