Anyone installed the Termignoni Exhaust for Hypermotard 698 Mono?

Got a call from my service rep on wheelie assist, apparently we just need to put the wheelie control in 1 and it’s on. Who knew?

Yes, I was aware of how to turn it on. It just wheelies way better without wheelie assist so far.

I can lift the front will at will on most every bike pretty easily and shift up and down gears while wheelie’ing just fine without an aid.

When I put it in DWC mode 1 and try popping the clutch, power wheelie’ing or anything in between that works fine without aids the bike still does not seem to “assist” in wheelie assist mode.

Has anyone else made this work properly?
Is everyone else having the insane amount of popping and backfiring?

Just trying to establish if the tune actually flashed properly.

Insane amount of decel popping, yes. There is less with the baffles installed though.

I want to see a Dyno run with stock versus termi and termi with and without baffles.

That would be nice to see.

I may put the baffle in. We got complaints from the neighbor with kids already. 🤣

lol, I’m waiting for my neighbors to complain as well. I just can’t help that last short wheelie before I roll up my driveway. My baffles are back out btw, It is so loud, but sounds so good! I do like that it’s “adjustable”.

Picked up today with full termi and quick shift. Power improvement is huge.
Thinking to put back on db killers, popping is really annoying.
Wheelie assist is on DWC 1 ?

Both with and without full pipe, map and air cleaner. Going to speak to dealer this week to see if they have a fix.

Did you get it resolved? I have the same issue with the termi slip-ons. open air cover and sprinter filter make it a bit better but it's still here.

Does Ducati realise what it has unleashed on the world? All this talk of excessively-loud exhausts and wheelies is quite unsavoury to me, but I guess the demographic for this bike doesn't include old geezers like me. ;)

Some of us old farts love pulling wheelies and braaping around. Wheelies seem to carry a lot of stigma in the UK but (from my perspective) there’s really no other way to know that you’ve reached max acceleration … in the same way that stoppies give us feedback about our braking. :)

My titanium header shipped today. Hopefully I get the bike back from the dealer this week and I can install the full system before my track day Saturday.

Hi Nick
67 and here Iin the USA eveyrhing is loud, the Ducati fits right in. Quite calm compared to a lot of the Harley Davidson that go by with straight pipes. Wheelies are quite common and go unnoticed. 🤷🏻‍♂️
