Got a call from my service rep on wheelie assist, apparently we just need to put the wheelie control in 1 and it’s on. Who knew?
Yes, I was aware of how to turn it on. It just wheelies way better without wheelie assist so far.
I can lift the front will at will on most every bike pretty easily and shift up and down gears while wheelie’ing just fine without an aid.
When I put it in DWC mode 1 and try popping the clutch, power wheelie’ing or anything in between that works fine without aids the bike still does not seem to “assist” in wheelie assist mode.
Has anyone else made this work properly?
Is everyone else having the insane amount of popping and backfiring?
Just trying to establish if the tune actually flashed properly.

Insane amount of decel popping, yes. There is less with the baffles installed though.
I want to see a Dyno run with stock versus termi and termi with and without baffles.
That would be nice to see.
I may put the baffle in. We got complaints from the neighbor with kids already.![]()
Both with and without full pipe, map and air cleaner. Going to speak to dealer this week to see if they have a fix.
Does Ducati realise what it has unleashed on the world? All this talk of excessively-loud exhausts and wheelies is quite unsavoury to me, but I guess the demographic for this bike doesn't include old geezers like me.![]()

OK, I will as soon as I have the opportunity. Frezzing cold now. Thanks!Just wheelie in first gear to the rev limit . If gonna cut power and bring down the bike you are fine. If not , I have bad news
Phil, do you (or anybody) know the map file code they installed when the dealer remapped your ECU? I think they installed the wrong one in mine. It should be in the job invoice. My dealer said VIN must be registered with Ducati for map. It should also include an air cleaner element and a new air box lid. I just had them install it did not feel like it, was not cheap. A BIG difference but my idle still has a surge to it, was hoping map cured it, maybe Ducati has a fix coming.I pulled the dab killers out and it’s kind of loud and pops constantly on deceleration.
I did not see mine till it was installed can’t tell material but it is what it is. I got the stock one back and I can tell you it’s heavy!
Hi, i'm Bjorn from Belgium and can you tell me if you install the full Termi with the upmap, do you have more torque at the bottom?just picked the bike up after getting it installed. The full termi system with he mapping and airbox lid.
I can’t find anything out about how the wheelie assist mode should work with the new mapping. Nothing new in the menus.
I’m curious if the constant popping on deceleration is because maybe the correct termi upmaps are not coming on the module/fob thing.
I’ve never had a bike with this much popping with an upmap installed. It seems really lean.
Much better power and torque down low. More what I would have expected.
Pops the wheel up much easier in lower rpm’s and throttle control down low is much smoother.
I installed the Ducati multi-media module on the 698 recently. The part number on the actual plastic case for the unit matched the correct part number for the 698, but it showed up as an unsupported unit in the dealers system when powered up.
Would love to know if anyone has the wheelie assist working correctly with the exhaust yet.
Not Ducati Wheelie Control. “Wheelie assist”
I am also one who had constantly glowing header. That still happens with the new exhaust. I was hoping the more free flowing pipes would cut down on that.
do you have more torque at the bottom? Definitely yes!Hi, i'm Bjorn from Belgium and can you tell me if you install the full Termi with the upmap, do you have more torque at the bottom?
Because i think the stock bike is missing torque at the bottom.
Does the full thermi come with the new/better air filter, or do you have to buy it seperatly?
Thank you for the answersdo you have more torque at the bottom?

Does the full Termi come with the new/better air filter, or do you have to buy it separately? It comes with it.
I noticed the idle RPMs and speed are quite high. Has Anyone noticed the same? Because it is pretty annoying. I am going to talk with the Dealer because the only way to get the RPMs lower on idle is via the ECU.
