I was about to load up the bike and go on a weekend trip for work and decided to do a dry run with the bags today, and boy am I glad I did.

The brackets were not on the bags, no big deal. I can fix that. Then I realized the lock tumblers aren't in the brackets at all. Just rolling around in the bag where my extra key is.

I am supremely pissed off that the dealer didn't install them. I'm taking the truck for my trip and having the local dealer (I bought the bike a few hours away) install them. Local dealer is doing it for free, but still. What the crap.

I'm sure I could install them myself but don't want eyebrows raised down the line that the cylinders are seized(like so many have) and they won't cover it because I did it myself.

I'm done Bitchin now.

installing those tumblers are part of the PDI, sure hope they're not going to charge you for it.

The local dealer guy was kinda in disbelief. He said that that's part of what they charge you for in the PDI. he said on good faith he doesn't feel like he can charge for it.
