Does anyone have an option related to the Clearwater Darla Driving Lights? Looking at putting some driving lights on my Hyperstrada and these looked interesting. Any other brands to consider? What have you installed?

Thanks, Jeff

American made. Top quality. Excellent support.

If you want to be seen by motorists, nothing beats the Darla LED lights.

For night riding, the Erica and other brighter lights will illuminate the road, and vaporize deer.

Here are Erica and Krista Clearwater LEDs:

What part number did you order? They don't list a specific model for the 821 Hypers.

I've had a set of Darla LED lights from my other bike and used them.

A universal kit would work fine.

I made a simple bracket from steel that works perfect.

Most people purchase a mounting kit from Clearwater and mount the smaller lights to the brake caliper, fender or forks. While easier to go with the flow, I chose to keep the lights with the sprung weight of the bike, mounting them like the Clearwater mount for the GS.

To do this I purchased steel from Home Depot and had it bent at my local welder.

Clearwater has a similar mount set-up available.

Most LED light source their components, if not the whole light, from China. Lights you can purchase far cheaper direct thru AliExpress. If you want a top quality and performing product Clearwater is the American option.

There are plenty of 4X4 LED lighting options too. I use them on my 4X4. This option is poorly suited for the look of the Ducati, and most motorcycles.

Clearwater is designed by Glen, a serious motorcycle guy. Made very well and designed to last.

After a long discussion about LED lighting with someone in a position to know over on AdvRider, everything I've said above was confirmed.

If you were to actually see the capabilities of the Clearwater LED lights, you too would have no doubt that their prices were well worth it.

I want to be noticed by the distracted driving public. My life depends on it. Clearwater Darla LED lights make that happen.

For all y'all in or near Northern California there is a special opportunity over at Clearwater.

I wonder if anyone would be interested in mounting brackets only since I am slacking on the complete light kit.
