Anyone want a free Corbin? They are looking to borrow a Hyperstrada to get the prototype completed. In return you get the 1st seat for FREE.

This would be a no brainer for me, except I live in FL.

Contact Christopher @ Corbin in Hollister.

Schedule it directly with Corbin

Give them call to arrange the time. I'm just a guy that wants a Corbin seat!

Touring Seat

Yes, they want to make a touring seat that better accommodates the passenger. Just like the stock Multi passenger seat, the passenger on the Hyper is sloped forward.

I've taken a passenger on my Hyper SP with stock seat and she had no complaints. Granted it was a short trip, the seat works a lot better than say, sport bike seats where it's easy for them to fall forward off the seat ledge.

Has anyone sat on the regular Corbin '13-'14 Hypermotard seat? I still love the bike but have developed a strong dislike for the seat. Was looking to have a custom one made, but I moved this past summer and no longer live close to a place I know and trust.

From Corbin..

"We would very much like to borrow your bike.

We were told that one of our seats may fit your bike. Would you be willing
to bring your bike in to test fit a seat on your bike? If it fits, then you
just scored a free seat. If not, would you be willing to leave your bike
for about 3-4 weeks. It will be indoors and secure at all times in our R&D
department (at
the Hollister factory).

During that time we will not ride your bike, but our designers will
be sitting on the bike often during the process.

Once tooling is complete, you will get whatever we made for your bike
at no charge.

If this works for you, we would like to schedule you to come in 2 weeks
from now.

Thanks very much for your consideration"

I really like the looks of the regular one. The stock seat isn't so comfy. Let us know if you go through with it!

I ordered their 'regular' '13-'14 Hypermotard seat today. Took a little arm twisting but I eventually got them to believe me when I told them the 'Motard and the 'Strada have the same mounting points. Should have it in a couple weeks.

I think it looks great. Let us know how it is.

Also do they give you the option to exclude the italian flag thing on the side?

You know, I didn't ask about the flag. I didn't spec that out in the order so I guess it will be a surprise.

I'm glad I didn't screw over Ollie. When I was explaining to them that the Hypermotard and the Hyperstrada were not actually two different bikes, the guy on the phone said, "Maybe we don't need that volunteer after all." I told 'em not to take my word for it and to get that bike in.
