Dashboard problem again !!

my problem is the dashboard fading away, is there any way to repair this?

If it is fading equally all over the screen, I did read this, that may apply to you-

"It's not the LCD that fades, but the polarizing film over the LCD. Over time, direct sunlight affects the film, which in turn, affects the brightness/clarity of the LCD."

I don't know how straightforward that would be to repair or to find a replacement.
