Denali aux lights installation help

Hi folks. Has anyone mounted a Denali kit with the Data Dim and the switch eliminator? I just got some Denali aux lights to put on my 2016 Hyperstrada 939, and was looking at the wiring diagram to understand what I need to do.
Based on Denali’s instructions, the harness goes to the battery, then the harness trigger should go to the low beam wire, and the second trigger for full power should go from the switch eliminator to a high beam wire.

This is the Hyper diagram from the manual. If I understand this correctly, I need to connect the main cable for the lights to the Low Beam #1, and the data dim tap to the High Beam #8, am I right? Which cable colors?

if anyone who has gone through this can share their insight, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!!!

I did this install a few months ago, I did it by using a multimeter and using that to figure out what wires are which, I had a look at that wiring diagram I don't think I can give instructions based on that. I think I tapped the wires just behind the headlight after removing the front fairing and headlight unit. The key is being able to use a multimeter to measure the voltage as if you're first attempt doesn't work you have no way of troubleshooting the setup. I would try to test it with all the gear and wiring outside the bike before a final install.

I will also point out your next problem which you may or may not have discovered is that you won't have the space to put the harness and controller under the seat. I put mine between and inside the frame behind the left hand side fairing which needed an extension to the wires on the battery end to be able to reach the terminals. Finding space for the harness and controller was the most time consuming part of the exercise.
