Documenting Rides - Photos, video & GPS

Here is a link to my Shortcuts Movie from a couple years back.

I think I've ridden that! We went to Forks of Salmon last year and rode tons of good stuff. That road looks very very familiar.

Truly some of the best riding ever. You have good taste. You will only see a handful of cars. Unfortunately last time I was up there I hit some gravel and had to cut the trip short in Healdsburg.

I've been exploring California backroads since 1995. But, since they are so far from Texas, it is critical that all the planning is done in advance. Never want to waste a single hour following tourists. Seems that few tourists know that they are required to use the slow vehicle turn-outs when being followed.

We come back into town for gas and a motel. We usually meet out there twice a year. All very experienced riders, all with B2B 2-way radios, all riding our own ride following GPS routes. The group stuff is only for the video to add visual interest seeing other bikes.

Just back from 1500 mile tour of Ireland and the Ulster GP, recorded the route on my Garmin Zumo and captured a lot of video footage too, just not had time to download the info yet. Back offshore for three week rotation.
Ireland was epic and cannot wait to go again and do the roads and trails i missed.
