Draining Rain Water from the Hypermotard Battery Box

Hi all,
Anyone else (probably in UK) found their battery to be sat in a pond of rainwater?

Granted, unlikely to notice unless you're changing out the battery but...

Hard to tell on image but that bottom section of the tray is full up, good few mm of water sat there.

Think I might drill some drain holes in there so it can mostly drain away, don't like the idea of that water sitting with nowhere to go growing mould on my rubbers!
 
Well, for anyone interested, drilled me some small holes in the internal 'shelf' of the battery tray so rainwater can drain away from the battery internally, then drip down out the undertray around shock area

No more water-cooled battery :cool:
