Engine noise changed, 588 miles in.

OK, so it's due it's first service tomorrow anyway but I just about got home any noticed a distinct change in the engine noise. Coming from the front is an additional muffled sound that is very audible over the exhaust on tick over. It's not been there before.

Anyone else notice this?

What type of noise is it, ticking, grinding, other?

In noticed a change in engine noise after my first service but not prior to.

It should change a bit overtime after it breaks in. But it also has a slightly louder tone in sport then in touring or urban.
