And in case you are interested, the standard exhaust weighs 4kg.

It is basically a straight through muffler with a catalytic converter honeycomb core at the inlet.

I find the stock exhaust pretty loud. Cant imagine what will these aftermarket exhaust do!

So with the catalytic converter removed and an exhaust servo eliminator installed, it might be a nice open exhaust........an option?

I think you would need to use brute force to remove the cat. Not really reversible.

nice. I removed the cat from my hypermotard evo.

The stock exhaust was bass-ier. With the termi on, it is deafening!!

the con part is that the fuel consumption is heavily affected. So i probably wouldnt do it on the hyperstrada

Removing the catalytic converter doesnt do much. It's a good 3" long and very difficult to remove. It took me about 6 hours with a punch, air hammer and a drill. Tiny bit louder. NOT WORTH IT. Learn from my mistake haha

A Diavel with a Mivv pipe showed up at our hangout...sounded tinny and harsh to me. I am often surprised at how loud the stock HS exhaust is! Maybe the upward angle keeps it away from the EPA microphone (which is not far from the ground)?

I am ready to purchase a new exhaust as well.. Does anyone have a decent vid of the arrow can? The only one I could find was a horrible vid someone took with an early go pro or something and the sound and video quality was horrible. Any help would be much appreciated..

Thanks,

Mike

Only 100 pieces of that will be made. If you like them, better do it quick!

thought that would be pre-series and the weld will be ground off.

There is also a non limited Edition for 1290 Euro without taxes.
Both are not legal here in Germany.

so I can wait

Im asking my favourit exhaust-company when they will produce an exhaust since I got my Hyper and now they were answering me:
Hello,

This model should be released in the month of January at Fresco.
Good day and see you soon.

So be prepared for a Fresco exhaust for the Hyper....

And I hope Bodis will release something like that soon: :D

So I removed the cable from the flap in the manifold yesterday and I just let the cable stay where it is and putted the aluminium-cap back in there.

So it was 3 minutes of work, no "duc-ee" or other expensive **** needed and got no error in the display cause I did not removed anything at the electric :D

Works fine and the sound is much better in neutral now!
Can't test it on the road cause its snowy here =/

But I think it's a lie from Ducati that the flap gives you more NM or torque....its only for the noise-level and the exhaust-gases which will be controlled at exactly 5500/600o rpm in europe and which is necessary to sell a motorcycle here officially.
