Just an update, I ordered the Spark GP can, it's at home waiting for me. I'll post a pic next week when I'm back from Africa, can't wait to get home to add the new exhaust as I hate the look of the stock one even though the sound is actually pretty decent..

I dig it. Love all the color options. Wish it was a full system and they published dyno #s. I would be bummed if it made too much noise with no extra go.

Like the price, and if you rotate the color options picture 90degress counter clockwise you could tell your missus that your looking at sauce and mayonnaise bottles.;)

I ordered MIVV GHIBLI slip on muffler.
It will be delivered in early March.
I am looking forward to put it on my HS.

Just installed this today.. I really like the look, and the sound is awesome!!
Thoughts?

Looks fantastic! Did you need to remap or anything? I'd love to get that exhaust, but my town may have a noise law in place next year, so ill have to hold off for now.

That's a question I wanted to get some opinion from the group on.. I didn't remap it yet but I've been researching options and don't know which one to go with, anyone remapped their Hyper yet and if so which one and why? I put this on this morning and rode around for a few hours, I didn't notice the bike running any different or rough etc.. I can't claim I felt any power increase cause the sound alone makes it feel more powerful... haha

Just a slip-on, right? I would think as long as you don't mess with the air sensors or the flapper valve, you're good. Wouldn't hurt to pull the battery terminal for a few minutes for schnitz and gigglez.

With cars, it's tricking the 02 sensors that presents obstacles, especially if you have an NSA proof ECU like my Acura did. The tuner-boys actually had to mess with 02 probe depth with multiple bung sizes to where the sensor just sipped the right amount of un-restricted air to satisfy the boxes. The ECU would not let anyone into the maps. All attempts just Christmas-tree'd the dash and locked the limp mode down.

I don't think mapping is an issue with Ducati. The driver aid parameters are so open and adjustable to the rider. I think their performance heritage bury's a little bit of racing spirit in all models and getting a custom map is probably very attainable.

Cheers, Mike. It's a little tiny proportionally but that is the style. Kinda looks MX-like. Very Motard!

I'd have to agree with Gat, if you've driven it and it works good I'd say keep driving it,

I went for the Arrow slip on but i like that too. Bet it sounds sweet. I work shifts so have to respect the neighbours so having a removable baffle is handy ;-)

Looks Great! Where did you buy from? and how much are these costing? I just can't
see the value in the Termis.

Hey Mike,

If you're asking about the Spark GP slip on I posted a couple of pics of, I bought it from the USA distributor Motowheels, they are in CA and I think it was about $650.00 shipped. I can say the thing sounds awesome!! It is louder than stock but it has a much deeper rumble and not as loud as some of those annoying harley pipes.. I've also noticed that with a freer exhaust the bike will putt around at 2-3K RPM without the bucking of the stock exhaust..

Thanks Mike,

I have it narrowed down to the SC GP exhaust and the Spark GP. They both look great and sound incredible. I remember when I put Arrow cans on my monster without baffles, the bike ran fantastic without any remapping of ECU.
Getting real tired of all this snow in NH though.

Here's another view..

Hi C180, I love the look of the Spark pipe. Tires look good too - what are you riding on there?

Duh....., on second thought, I think those are original tires!!

Do all the Tumi (ie Ducati Exhaust options) work with luggage? I know......it's expensive but just wondering?

You have to buy a "low mount" exhaust - so it will work with the luggage.

The "High Mount" termignionis won't work with the right luggage - you would have to buy a 1-sided-luggage rack then.

You have to watch out weather the exhaust works with the luggage when you buy one. There are a few which dont - Mivv Suono for example.
