Sorry, somebody dropped that bomb in another thread earlier this week. Akrapovic was always my go to can and the price tag is easier to swallow than some of the other systems.

I think they also offer a full system on their site. Let me know if you come across a dyno sheet.

The full ti system on my 848 still excites me, so I'm sure it will be worth the money on the hyper as well.. Their quality is just phenomenal. As far as dyno sheets go, I rode the 848 for a year before ever buying a fuel injection module and I must say, the stock ecu setup seemed to work pretty perfectly with it and my air filter. I would expect the same results. I was definitely skeptical at first when these exhaust manufacturers claim "Works with stock ECU mapping", but in that case, it seemed very accurate.

I saw and Akrapovic full system for 848 selling for over $3K. Is that what you paid? Most of their full systems claim 8-10 hp increase for Duc's.

I got Termignoni for 1500 bucks. I still cringe that I paid that much but DAMN I LOVE it. It's exactly how I wanted the to sound. My friend with a SV1000 and Yoshimura almost lost it when we were out and I kicked it. Very very happy with it :D

The akra exhaust looks so much like the OEM r6 exhaust I was trying to high mount. They are hexagonal too but no carbon end cap. A few friends talked me out of it.

Arrow Exhaust

I find the stock exhaust pretty loud. Cant imagine what will these aftermarket exhaust do!

Ive just fitted an Arrow Race Tek removed the DB killer and disconnected the flapper valve. It sounds great. The only thing, its seems flat when giving it the full beans on the open road. Has any body experienced this ?

Does it come alive in higher rpm's? Maybe not enough back pressure or need a new map.

So, does it just boom deeper opened up or all around increase in DB's? I'd love it if bass-y boom hit harder but really don't like being the guy with obnoxious exhaust.

This hotness just got released..

Akrapovic Exhaust Muffler Hypermotard / Hyperstrada 2013-2014

Akrapovic Linkage Pipe / Header Ducati Hypermotard / Hyperstrada 2013-2014

You best believe I already have mine on order (not really - but I am holding out!).

What do you guys think?

This thing looks incredible. Do you need to buy the pipe + the linkage piece to make it work?

Also that seems like a high exhaust or am I wrong and it's the low one that will work with the saddle bags?

My Arrow

Just a little louder than the factory muffler with 'dB-Killer' installed.

I am selling my Roadsitalia. Shipping to America would be a bit expensive I think but maybe someone in Germany/Europe could be interested. Price would be 170Euro without shipping.

He Manni, I might be interrested in the exhaust.
Why are you getting rid of it? And which one of the 5 exhausts is it?

Regards.

If you search "roadsitalia thunder 821" on google the first 2 pictures are my Strada :D

Its the Thunder exhaust - without kat and the silencer is edited so its a bit deeper.

I sell it because I want to try something else next year - maybe a high-up with only 1 case or something.

So I just installed the Remus low pipe on the Hyper, absolutely love the sound!

However, has anyone noticed with slip-ons, that the idle rev which is usually 1-1.5k RPM surges just a bit, stays under 2k but I can hear it just on and off going up then back down subtle.

I didn't think I'd need a re-flash for just a slip on, I left the butterfly valve intact.
Also the DB killer is out.

I like the SC-Project "Oval Low" design and how to fit into the HS:

Now "surges" less in low RPM than the stock exhaust.
