exhaust

It's reasonably louder than the factory pipe with the db killers taken out and the flapper valve plate removed. I'll be coming to edm pretty soon, you can have a listen to it.

Arrow dark, not the xcone. Before that, Competition Werkes (which I'm putting up on eBay shortly - the sound just wasn't for me, despite everyone else loving it).

There are quite a lot of audio clips of both the CW and Arrow exhaust here, but I've been experimenting with microphone placement with varying degrees of success.

May 8th I'm heading to Calgary for a dyno session with my car.. But I'll probably have the bike on a trailer... I have to be at the shop in Calgary for noon.

I'm sure the bike sounds siiiick with a pipe, but this is the first bike I will own without getting one. The stock pipe somehow looks and sounds good. Also, the purpose of the bike for me is to ride it often and far. As much as I'd love to free the beast, it's nice to not need earplugs for any ride over 15 minutes.

That said, the low termis look awesome!

when are you listing it on ebay? did you have to do any ECU programming for either?

General rule is, if you remove the Cat, tuning is required. As a matter of fact, I think the Low Termi should have tuning as well, even with having a Cat.

I run the Akrapovic without a cat, runs perfect without a tune and it sounds amazing with the baffle out. Having never owned a Ducati before I know their soundtrack is one of the main appeals, so I had to open it up. The Akra looks really good too.

I've always like loud exhausts though, so you may want to disregard my opinion if you don't...

ya the bike wont be good to go tell later anyways its going in for the first service.

Honestly I think any slip on these bikes will sound good.. The factory exhaust note is pleasing.. However I wanted it to be a couple db louder without being obtrusive. Other slip I was looking at was the Ackrapovic system... But I wanted to maintain warranty so I chose the Termi system instead.

Would the high mount Termi slip sound similar to the low.. Yup. Because it's not changing the primaries length. Would the full Termi exhaust sound good and different.. Yup. But I won't pay $3G + for that sound.

There's no ECU reflash specifically for it. Apart from the bikes running lean from the factory and needing a reflash anyway, none of the slip-ons seem to need it. Ducati did a nice job making the factory exhaust relatively efficient.

Haven't put it on ebay yet. If you want I'll send you a PM when I do.
