Fuel Tank Expansion

Pure gas with no ethanol is not easy to find, but it is out there. I buy it for the car too (when I can), partly on principle. I like the idea of it being available to those that need it or prefer it, and it's very inefficient to make engine fuel from corn. Several web sites can help locate stations, like Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada.

I can get 89 E-free, for a ridiculous mark-up...

The thing nagging me about 89 is possible performance loss on our 91+ rated engines. I know for sometime, modern EFI engines will just ****** timing to compensate but you do lose some ponies in the process. It's probably not much, but I'm an "optimal" guy and it picks at me thinking I've lost 3-5 hp to save the gaskets/tank.

Nearly every new car is equipped with a tank and gaskets made from similar materials. They have no problems with 10% ethanol. Y'all are being paranoid for no reason other than the fun of talking about it!
