I have this issue on my 2013 Hyperstrada.
I get the CEL light after a few minutes of start-up, i get this code P0172 Fuel Trim Too Rich Bank 1 (Horizontal).
The bike will idle Normal, when the CEL light appears. It becomes rough/ surging. You know that it is rich in fuel. If i take it for a spin, bike runs fine. But if you stop/ idle, there you will feel its surging. A few instances where the bike stalls.
I was searching everywhere for the solution, and mostly it comes back to MAP Sensor.
I rippe₱d the bike and cleaned the throttle, air filter and BOTH Map Sensors.
Started the bike but the P0172 still appears, i am using MELCODIAG for diagnostics.
Can someone give ideas on which areas to check?
