Givi Mounting Rack with Light Kit

I have the SRA7403 mounting bracket and my lovely new Givi V47 case. Love it. I jumped in and bought the E135 light kit. However, there is no notch or hole or recess on the 7403 into which I could mount the electrical contacts which would engage when the case is clicked into the 7403.

Any thoughts on this? I hate the thought of having to drill out the aluminum plate, but I can't see any other way to get the contacts together, aside from disassembling the housing on the contact and permanently joining it, but that seems a bit short-sighted.

I found your post as I was looking for the same answer. Did you figure this out in the end? What did you end up doing?

I was able to source a SRA7403 from Italy.. one of the last available after a few online gambles... on the Givi site it says the 7403 is not-compatible with the light or auto open feature... this is likely what they are talking about.

any follow ups to this?
