Hey All. Just thought I'd throw this helmet deal out there. I have Shoei GT Air and it is an amazing helmet. Very comfortable, fairly light, great airflow, great aero at speed, pinlock visor, sunshade. Really great liner/ cheek pad system. Has the EMS access feature for neck injuries. I came from a moderately priced AGV and this was far superior. My old helmet visor would crack slightly open if I turned my head at speed. This visor has a locking feature against a very nice seal design and it doesn't budge. If you don't have pinlock, how the hell do you survive?! Seriously, pinlock visors are amazeballs in rain or dewy times. I paid a lot more for the multi-color version that was marked down from over $700 new.

I'd recommend buying couple spare visors and at least one cheek pad/ liner replacement. I would have used my old helmet longer if they hadn't stopped making the cheek pads for it.

Shoei GT-Air

My son picked up a GT Air Decade. Last year's model for the savings. He loves it. I will step up my game next helmet.

I'm using the GT air as well. With the optional chin spoiler it's the quietest helmet I've used.

The difference between a $400 helmet and a reputable $600+ helmet is dramatic.
Bayotte, are you talking about the chin skirt? Mine came with that.

Gatdammit - nope, not the chin skirt (although I use that as well). You can add the chin spoiler from the x14, for me it made a huge difference, despite being only a small piece of extra plastic. Shoei sent me one for free after I emailed them.
