grip nip - info msg only

Hi,
Got off the bike yesterday and found a small hole in the rubber outer layer of the LHS heated grip. Presumably the coppery stuff underneath is the heated element.
Bike less than 1 month old and dealer will replace (when Italy comes back off holiday; but I don't begrudge them their hols at all).

The outer rubber? layer of the grip is so thin. Presumably that's something to do with the heated grip option.
