Thanks a bunch for all the legwork. Truly appreciate it.
One more question...the mirror extenders. Are they reverse threaded in the extension part for the left side like the factory or are the proper thread on both sides? To be clearer, I am talking about the part the mirror threads into and not the bar end. I can tell from the website that bolts provided are 1 reverse and one normal, but couldn't tell about the mirror threads on the extension.

The Magazi mirrors I bought came with thread adapters to use it on every bike.
ATTENTION:
The mirrors in the amazon.com-link in my post above are NOT THE RIGHT ONES. They have 8 mm threads (for scooters) whereas our HS has 10 mm. I removed the link from my post. Sorry!
hey i like those hand guards, but I'm wondering are the bands in the middle steel or plastic
i do a lot of off roading with my hyper and am always breaking the stock ones
The DP handguards have a thick and pretty robust steel band in the middle that you will never break. The rest is plastic (good quality - but breakable depending on what you hit against it).
What could happen (well it happened to me ) - when you lay your bike down on the left side - the guards can twist upwards and kill your clutch cable.
These are the Acerbis Supermoto Handguards. They are strong enough to protect the levers. They even have replaceable sliders! Tusk LED signals. Very reasonably priced too.
If your stockers aren't broken, missing or at the very least scratched up... you don't need to "upgrade" as you obviously aren't utilizing them at all anyway.
That being said, they are cheap junk. Just like the bash guard. Just like the bags. Just like the bike as a whole. Cheap, pretty, fun to ride ... junk!
I went for the Barkbusters Storm guards in the end. Mounted some flushmount indicators in them. They're way better than the OEM ones, and they didn't break the bank either.
