Handlebar spacer height

I made some for my SP cause they felt a little low. Started with 20mm. Felt way too high. Reduced them to 14mm, still too high. I think 8mm will be the sweet spot. The high position is super comfy though.
 
Mine came out to 19.975 mm.

I had to find them, though. I forgot that I had reused them as exhaust spacers on the KLR.
 
Ok. Full disclosure, they were 19.525mm with a micrometer
 
Are they easily removable, the spacers? I was wondering if it would be a better height for me.
