Handlebar spaces

Has anybody taking out the handlebar spaces and do I need the two shorter bolts to reconnect the risers? how does the bike feel with them out

You can reuse the stock bolts after you remove the spacers if you insert them from the bottom instead of the top.

I am looking for feedback as well on eliminating the spacers. I just put the racing seat on, which has me sitting slightly higher, so I don;t want to make a bunch of quick changes.

The 'motard comes without the spacers. I actually put them in for a while, then took them back out. Here are some random thoughts.

With spacers in:
More comfortable height
Bars higher and further back
Harder to weight the front end when cornering
Wheelies easier

With spacers out:
Better at aggressive riding
Still very comfortable
Less 'dirtbike' feel, more streetbike feel
