Sold the Monster S2R and in the market for a new bike. Was looking at the Tiger until the Hyperstrads showed up. Going to put some money down on one after seeing it at the IMS in Seattle.

Also just checked out the Strada at the Seattle show. Awesome scooter. Ducati has a winner, for sure. I have a Hyper 1100S and the Strada is smaller than my current Duc. Not sure my big, old body is going to fit for long rides. I look forward to the magazine comparos and a test ride. TBA.

I'm small so it seems to fit me well. I like how narrow and light it feels. It wasn't on the rear paddock stand when I was looking it over early Saturday morning. Most of my ridding will be commuting to work with maybe a long day ride once in a while. Maybe a trip or two to Portland in the summer. My daughter is going to school at WWU which looks to be in your neighborhood.

Hi Stradasphere,
If I may ask, how tall are you and what is your inseam? I'm looking forward to sitting on the 'strata to see how I fit.

I'm vertically challenge at 5'-6" . My reach to the floor felt about the same as my 06 Monster S2R 800. I had the balls of my feet down and I was wearing tennis shoes not boots. Also the suspension was tight so did not really feel much sag when I sat on it. Check the below site out. They have the Hyperstrada list so you can put in your height and inseam. It will show how much of your foot will be on the ground and your reach to the bars. It's pretty neat.:D
