I have dibs on a red hyperstrada here in SoCal, told mid April. I have been on 650 Wee STROM since 2007 and excited about my first Ducati. Dealer went to a ride day out here and it was on the hypermotard. He said it was a great ride.

Could be, but my dealer told me that this year all the bikes are deliverd on the predicted time. Maybe the influence from Audi??? Efficient working?
One strange thing: my neighbour bought his strada 2 days after I ordered mine and my bike is actually in the workshop but no news of his bike.

That is curious. I ordered mine about 6 weeks ago. I thought I would receive notification from Ducati. Nothing yet. The dealer tells me I will get the VIN about 10 days before the bike arrives. Given that the bike is supposed to be here in 21 days.... Seems unlikely I will see the bike in three weeks.
When did you place your deposit?

I put my deposit in early January after seeing the bike at the Seattle IMS show.
