Hello from North Carolina

Great forum so far! I currently ride a Harley (can I use this word here?) Sportster, but have a strong interest in Ducati. I'm looking for a bike that is better suited for longer rides and am torn between the two worlds of Harley and Ducati. This has been an awful state of confusion for me! Seems the Hyperstrada or Multistrada would be a good fit. My local Ducati dealer will be receiving their first Hyperstradas this weekend and I look forward to seeing and riding one soon.

Great to see the vast international make up of this forum and I look forward to possibly being a contributing Ducati owner soon!

Welcome to the forum. I have a few friends that would like me to get a Harley. One is a manufacturing engineer for them. Harley just hasn't come out with a bike that calls to me. I had a chance to check out the Hyperstrada at the IMS in Seattle this winter. After that I went and put down my deposit.

I had a girl at work tell me that I should get a Harley because that is what chicks dig...atleast that is what she digs....I told her my hyperstrada could do circles around most barleys....The multistrada....you can go to orbit on that one. That being said....I got my hyperstrada coming soon....my next ride will be a big fat harley so I can be King of the Road!!!! Road King is in my future.

I had a 99 FXDX that I modded, and took to 95ci (ShortBlock Charlie did the work on heads), with Andrews cams, 2001 dual piston front brakes, and longer rear shock. Great bike.

Actually the new switch back had me thinking I could ride a Harley but in the end I couldn't have my only bike handle like that. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome here, HD or Ducati? This is an 'Amletic' problem! I think no one could help you in decide, it depends on what kind of biker you are. Try both and feel your heartbeat after, easy.
