Hello,
Just picked up a white '14 Hyperstrada yesterday! Coming from a ZX6R and my back just can't take the riding position anymore, so the comfort of the strada is a real breath of fresh air. Rest of my bike history includes a street triple, cbr500, cbr250 and ninja 250. Have about 100 miles on the strada so far and overall it's great. Some things I want to improve are the windscreen, it seems to put the windblast right at my neck, which is not useful, as the air then shoots up the front of my helmet on the inside lol. I'll probably just take it off completely until I can get a good aftermarket option. I also have a weird thing going on where if the bike sits still the front end starts smoking. It looks like there's a little hose going into the exhaust pipe under the radiator that is where the smoke is coming from. There's a light burning smell as well and I'm unsure what's going on, I wouldn't think that would be the "new bike" smell because I'm 100 miles in. I intend to post a more detailed description of that issue in the mechanical forum soon. Look forward to meeting my fellow owners!
