I like the design. Very similar to DP Touring screen, which I always liked. For the Strada, I like the stock mount since I have about 4 different front screens

I'm trying to figure out what screen this is. Does it look like the MRA dbl bubble? This pic is from a forum member...

I just fitted the MRA and after two days riding I cant say its made any difference at all, I’m only 5.10” and am getting battered by wind still , has anyone tried a clip on extension?

I'm 5'7". I bought the Puig and it was as noisy or even noisier than stock. By looks you would think the MRA would be worse, but it was way better. For me. I own 3 Ducaties, and have 10 bikes altogether. The Hyperstrada is my ATF and the last bike I will ever sell.

Using the mRA and didn't really do much. Added a cheap Amazon extension (small size), and it made a big difference. Not a Goldwing difference, but cleaner air. LOL. Recently got a naked (gsx-s750) and it is actually quieter in the helmet and no buffeting. So the compromise, IMO, is between less wind on the body and clean air around the helmet. The clip on helps with this.

Screens mostly suck if you're after a quiet ride; something I also learned long ago because naked bikes are so much quieter in general. Maybe rider body shape/height is too variable for most designers of screens to even consider the likely airflow from the chunks of plastic they stick on the front as a default. Helmet shape and neck length also influence noise, as I found after buying a supposedly-quiet Schuberth C5 that generates a lot of noise around the neck area unless I wear a thick neck collar.

Where a screen is necessary to cap a fairing and afford some body protection, it's an interesting exercise to design and make your own. That worked on the Alazzurra, the ST4 and the Gran Canyon. On the HS, I've just fitted a low CF Motard screen as I don't expect to be using the bike for very long trips and it looks so much neater.

The wind is terrible on a hyper at 150kph (94mph) without a screen. It's much easer to hang on and ride at that pace with a stock screen. I am about to upgrade to the oem larger touring wind shield as I was able to source the discontinued part #. I will update with my experience on the difference between the two.

I've had the DP touring screen since new in 2013. It's the best middle-ground of looks and function. I have a stubby CF and a giant touring screen. The stubby CF looks amazing on but just doesn't cut it for the way I ride. I find the giant screen I have doesn't help where I need it - shoulders. The DP touring screen doesn't buffet my helmet much but my shoulders get blasted above 70 mph, causing annoyance and fatigue.

Didn't know it was discontinued. Mine is so old and worn that it doesn't even really have any smoke tint left.
